Who this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website and through enquiries about our projects. It is written to align with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

What this website collects

This site runs on WordPress, hosted on our behalf by a hosting provider. WordPress keeps the site content in a database on that hosting and sets a small number of cookies, described in section 3.

The enquiry form has no server-side handler and is not stored anywhere. When you press "Send on WhatsApp", your browser opens WhatsApp with the details you typed already written into a message. Nothing reaches us until you press send inside WhatsApp.

Your language choice, English or Bahasa Malaysia, is kept in your browser local storage so the site opens the same way next time. That is stored on your device, not on our server, and we cannot read it.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamp, for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses only the cookies WordPress needs in order to work. None of them identify you as an ordinary visitor.

• wordpress_logged_in_… and wordpress_sec_… — set only when a member of our staff signs in to the administration area, to keep that session open. They are never set for ordinary visitors.
• wp-settings-… — set when a signed-in staff member changes a display option in the administration screens, so it is remembered.
• comment_author_… — set only if commenting is enabled and you leave a comment, so the form remembers your details next time.
• Your language choice is kept in local storage rather than a cookie, and stays on your device.

We do not use advertising, remarketing or profiling cookies, and we do not run analytics that build a profile of you. If we add a tool that does — website analytics, a marketing pixel or a chat widget — we will update this page before it goes live.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you using this site.

What we collect when you contact us

When you enquire by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive whatever you choose to give us. Usually that is your name, your clinic or company, a phone number or email address, the project location and floor area, and what you want to build.

If we go on to work together, we also handle the information needed to run the project and its submissions: registered practitioner details, company registration details, tenancy or title information, and drawings.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation
• To design, price, build and hand over your project
• To prepare and lodge submissions to the local authority, Bomba, the Ministry of Health and other relevant bodies
• To keep the records we are required to keep, including for tax, audit and warranty purposes

Who we share it with

• Government and regulatory bodies, where a submission or an inspection requires it
• Consultants engaged on your project, such as architects, engineers and licensing consultants
• Subcontractors and suppliers, limited to what they need for their part of the work
• Our professional advisers, where necessary

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Third-party services on this site

• WhatsApp, operated by Meta. The enquiry button and the floating button open WhatsApp. Once you are in WhatsApp, the terms of Meta govern that conversation.
• Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from the servers of Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Google Maps. The directions link takes you to the site of Google, governed by the terms of Google.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database on our behalf and keeps the server logs described above.
• WordPress plugins. Where a plugin sends data to another company, it is listed here. At present none do.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of the work going ahead, then deleted. Project records are kept for as long as we may need them for defect liability, warranty, statutory and tax purposes.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal data about you and give you a copy, correct data that is wrong or out of date, limit how we use it, or stop using it for a particular purpose.

Write to info@mgprojeks.com or to the office address above. We may need to verify who you are before we act, and some requests may be limited by records we are legally required to keep.

Security

Enquiry and project information sits on business accounts and devices, with access limited to the people working on your project. No system is perfectly secure, but we hold no payment card details, and this website itself collects and stores nothing.

If we change this policy we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
